Automox already supports newest Apple Mac OS Sequoia

Endpoint management company Automox has announced it supports newest Apple Mac OS Sequoia, announced in the summer and now available.

In a post bylined to Automox’s Peter Pflaster and Jon Levenson, the vendor said this will help admins run and secure Sequoia based endpoints. Automox delivers automated software deployment and patching functionality.

“On top of that, you’ll retain the configuration management confidence you’re used to – across your enterprise – with Apple’s newest OS release,” they wrote.

The new macOS Sequoia will gain Apple Intelligence, in beta from this autumn.

Apple Intelligence includes a generative AI enabled writing assistant, image generator and a new version of its Siri support assistant for Silicon devices.

“There will be a heap of new features, and your team’s bound to experience significant productivity gains with better window tiling, presenter previews, a new password app, and the much-anticipated beta availability of Apple Intelligence,” Pflaster and Levenson wrote.

“With Automox, administrators can rest assured they’ll have help running and securing macOS Sequoia without interruptions.”

According to Apple’s June Sequoia announcement, Apple Intelligence is a “personal intelligence system for Mac, iPhone and iPad”.

It blended generative AI with “personal context”. Also, it will be supported by every Mac with an M-series chip and has been built for privacy, the company said.

According to the vendor’s website, the Automox endpoint management platform automates OS and third-party patches and enforces device configuration. This can reduce time, effort, and complexity of endpoint management.
