PDF and e-signature software vendor Foxit has whipped the covers off the 12th version of its PDF Editor with a focus on its new PDF Editor Pro+ bundle of PDF editing tools.
Phil Lee, chief revenue officer of Foxit, said in the announcement that PDF Editor Pro+ is its most comprehensive and customer-friendly PDF package to date.
“Whether in the office or on the move, PDF Editor Pro+ ensures our customers always have editing and e-sign capabilities at their fingertips,” Lee added.
PDF Editor Pro+ includes capabilities for creating, editing, filling and signing documents. Variations are available for Windows or Mac, with cloud and mobile also supported. The number of personal e-signatures is unlimited — as part of an “introductory offering”.
“Users will be able to e-sign their own documents within the PDF Editor and automate how they collect e-signatures on documents sent to multiple people as often as they need at no additional cost,” according to the vendor.
Functionality in Foxit PDF Editor 12 includes integration with Foxit eSign, enabling creation, editing and signing of legally binding documents while in the PDF editor, enabling signatures to be easily collected from multiple contacts and managed.
Users can both export and manipulate PDF files and pages, including annotation, sharing and collaboration. Information can be protected, or made more accessible through assistive technology, the vendor said.
Also, they can open an accounting calculator window within the application and insert calculations into PDF documents as a tape. Cross-referencing and tab groups within a window are also supported, it said.
Foxit, with offices in the USA, Europe, Australia and Asia, boasts around 700 million users, including 485,000 SMB and enterprise customers across 200 countries.
