IT management tooling specialist SolarWinds is ramping up globally, inking a deal with India’s largest distributor, Savex Technologies, expanding its M.Tech partnership in China, and receiving new awards and certifications on the back of product announcements through 2020.
Megan Headley, vice president of research at reviews site TrustRadius, said it has top-rated five SolarWinds IT operations management products and one managed services provider offering, across seven categories, for 2020. In addition, TrustRadius has certified SolarWinds in its new Transparent, Responsive, Unbiased and Ethical (TRUE) programme for more ethical sourcing.
“SolarWinds solutions received eight awards across seven product categories due entirely to customer feedback, which praised the company’s ease of implementation and user-friendly interface,” she said.
TrustRadius awards are considered by many as representing an industry standard for B2B tech. The award winners include SolarWinds’ Server & Application Monitor, Service Desk, Network Performance Monitor, Security Event Manager, Database Performance Analyzer, and remote monitoring and management.
Commenting on the Asia deals, Sojung Lee, vice president of Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) sales at SolarWinds, said the company sees tremendous potential in India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation area, with more businesses embarking on a digital transformation journey. The deal will give it access to customers in some 700 cities across India, as well as a strong managed services network.
Singapore-based cybersecurity and network performance solutions provider M.Tech, meanwhile, will look to broaden SolarWinds’ IT operations management reach in China across verticals including banking, finance, insurance, manufacturing, education and more. M.Tech has 32 offices in 16 countries across ASEAN and Australasia.

Converged roles and contracting budgets were already challenging the requirements of hybrid IT environments before coronavirus, according to SolarWinds.
