GoTo Resolve has rebranded as LogMeIn Resolve and beefed up its mobile device management (MDM) and remote monitoring toolkit. The idea is to assist managed services providers (MSPs) especially.
Parent company GoTo also unveiled new ecosystem integrations. Joseph George, senior vice president and general manager of GoTo’s IT solutions group, said it “recognised the vital role that MSPs play”.
“These new capabilities (are) built to solve many of MSPs’ most pressing technology needs,” George said.
Mobile device management relies on connectivity
MDM features now include easier security for data, assets and applications. This includes a focus on zero-trust principles.
In addition, automated device set-up for iOS, Mac, Android and Windows was now “designed specifically” for MSPs, it said.
RMM tenancy was “enhanced”. GoTo said this would streamline multi-client management. That includes expanded tenant-controlled technician permissions.
Another vendor highlight is a Pax8 partnership. Also, there’s integration with Microsoft Intune and an improved integration for Connectwise PSA.
Similarly, GoTo has rolled out agentic AI insights and issue resolution features for LogMeIn Resolve. As a consequence, SMBs and MSPs can expect easier IT workload management.
Manual processing were also reduced, it said.
According to GoTo, the global managed services market may exceed $510 billion (£404bn) by 2029. This is partly down to supporting complex IT environments.
“MSPs need tools that streamline their workflows, improve response times, and provide actionable insights,” GoTo said.
Streamlining management and monitoring portfolios
The updates follow GoTo’s January announcement of returning to the ‘LogMeIn’ name.
At the time, Peter Mahoney, chief commercial officer at GoTo, said they were bringing it back because that name was still associated with top tools in its sector.
“It simplifies how we present our two core product families and ties nicely into the future of our products,” he said in the announcement.
“Our company name is still GoTo. But from here on, you’ll see our IT solutions under the LogMeIn banner and our cloud communications solutions under GoTo Connect.”
