Remote access software from channel vendor RealVNC benefited from further innovations and collaboration in 2024.
Bogdan Bele wrapped up the year for RealVNC customers and partners in a blog post. He said the vendor had successfully advanced its offering.
“From great new features to helping maintain tradition through sponsorships, it’s been a fantastic 2024,” Bele said.
In RealVNC Connect, new features included the ability to see if specific devices are on or offline. Additions included enhanced multi-monitor support.
The file transfer experience had been “remastered”. In addition, key activity can be tracked team-wide in RealVNC Connect 7.
“These were all done with a view to providing an easy to use, yet secure remote access solution,” Bele said.

RealVNC also achieved ISO 27001 certification. “This reaffirms our commitment to the highest standards of data protection,” he said.
Partnerships with the likes of Biotronik and Reji increased opportunities for RealVNC technology too.
Biotronik, for instance, is working with RealVNC on an integrated, customisable solution for their Renamic Neo programming devices.
As a result, healthcare devices such as pacemakers will increase efficiency and customer support for users, the vendor said.
And fast-service restaurants using Reji kiosks now use RealVNC Connect to monitor them, Bele said. Case studies are available on the RealVNC website.
