Privileged access management (PAM) vendor Delinea has been named to the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass for 2024.
According to Delinea CEO Art Gilliland, the analyst report noted its innovation and comprehensive approach to identity security.
“As human and machine identities increase, organisations require powerful yet simple-to-implement PAM solutions that reduce risk without sacrificing productivity,” Gilliland said in the announcement.
Notably, the vendor earned Strong Positive rating for what KuppingerCole calls ‘Innovativeness’, it said. The only vendor to earn this rating, its solutions were praised for “ease of use, scalability, and strong cloud integration capabilities”.
Delinea said its products incorporated password vaulting, session management, and enforcement of least privilege access. The idea was to make security accessible and manageable for organisations of all sizes.
Robust privileged access management
Consequently, the report recognised Delinea’s robust capabilities across PAM lifecycles.
This included in discovery, governance, just-in-time access, and session monitoring. Additionally, the Delinea Platform offered cloud integration and Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), it said.
Paul Fisher, KuppingerCole lead analyst, said: “Their focus on customer needs positions them favourably in the market.”
Demand for effective PAM solutions continued to rise, Fisher said.
