Business information management and intelligence company OpenText has trumpeted new analyst accolades for its offerings across cloud performance, AI and analytics, cybersecurity, operations management and application delivery.
Adam Lee, director of analyst relations at OpenText, said that multiple top analysts had evaluated its various business units, including GigaOm, IDC, Radicati and Infosource. For example, OpenText LoadRunner was named a leader and “out-performer” in the 2024 GigaOm Radar for cloud performance testing.
“The report stated the LoadRunner SaaS product line from OpenText remains a strong leader in this market with a robust feature set, including integrated wide area network (WAN) emulation testing as part of performance testing,” Lee wrote in a report round-up for May 2024.
“The ability to consume the output of open source testing tools for large-scale testing is also key.”
GigaOm also named OpenText ValueEdge in its radar report on regulated software lifecycle management, and in analytics and AI the firm recognised OpenText Vertica for data warehousing, OpenText Axcelerate and others in its e-discovery radar report.
Lee said that GigaOm also named its products as leaders in application security testing, netdevops, cloud management platforms, digital asset management and digital experience platforms.
IDC MarketScape analysis named the vendor as a leader in Windows client endpoint management software and unified endpoint management software for SMB customers, he added.
“The [IDC MarketScape] report stated that ‘key features include advanced security measures, flexible management options, and support for a wide range of devices’,” he wrote.
At Infosource, OpenText Capture and IDP solutions were named leaders in that market, while Radicati gave a nod to OpenText’s enterprise archiving solutions, including for SAP.
OpenText has also been named in the Forrester Wave: Document Mining and Analytics Platforms analysis for the second quarter of 2024.
According to Laurence O’Brien, senior product marketing manager for the OpenText Analytics and Aviator platforms, the Forrester Wave report assesses OpenText as capable of “any and all” document mining and analytics tasks, highlighting IDOL’s AI-driven document management and unstructured data analytics capabilities.
“OpenText IDOL received the highest score possible in accuracy verification, complex forms and images, security and regulatory compliance, and document-level text mining,” O’Brien wrote on the OpenText website.
“The report noted that large enterprises consistently choose IDOL for its ability to handle complex document mining and analytics tasks. The platform’s criteria, such as human-in-the-loop (HITL) accuracy verification, cross-document mining with unsupervised machine learning, and a pervasive architecture for data security stood out.”
OpenText’s expansive portfolio also includes connectivity solutions such as the Exceed range and content collaboration tools such as Brava!
