Aragon Research has named LogMeIn a leader in web and video conferencing for the seventh consecutive year.
LogMeIn’s portfolio of unified communications and collaboration (UCC) products are not only good performers but strategically aligned with industry direction and market demand.
Jim Lundy, founder and CEO at Aragon Research, noted that in 2019, GoToMeeting was updated and refreshed with a new “video first” experience that works across devices.
“GoToMeeting also features built-in note taking, transcription, and enhanced audio connection capabilities to optimise quality even during times with reduced network bandwidth,” he said.
“The LogMeIn portfolio is broader now with its GoToConnect and Jive based voice offerings and its business chat. This allows LogMeIn to be a complete provider of meetings, UCaaS and messaging. It offers all the key use cases and now has more intelligence.”
Particular strengths include ease-of-use and automation of meeting schedules, according to Aragon’s analysis.
Mark Strassman, senior VP and general manager of comms and collaboration at LogMeIn, said the last year had been a busy one for its UCC products.
“We launched a new portfolio brand under GoTo, along with two new products, GoToConnect and GoToRoom. We are honoured to be identified as a leader once again by Aragon Research in their 2020 Web and Video Conferencing report- in part for that work,” Strassman said.
Aragon has named LogMeIn a leader in every one of its web and video conferencing reports over the last seven years. The reports compare the web and video conferencing solutions of 19 major providers.
